The Liverpool Olympic premier league team are through to Round 4 of the FFA Cup! It was a very tense and high octane game against Phoenix FC. The first half ended 1-0 to Olympic thanks to a fantastic goal by Milos. Olympic were seconds away from winning the match when Phoenix equalised to make it 1-1 at full time. Our boys scored in the first half of extra time however Phoenix again equalised just before the end which took the game to penalties where Olympic went up winners 4-2 to keep the Cup dream alive! Well done to our boys!!The club is extremely grateful for the support it received last night. There was a real atmosphere at Hoxton Park Reserve which made it a fantastic evening and a fantastic result for all involved.Liverpool Olympic would also like to extend a Thank you to Phoenix FC for a great game, and to SDSFA and FNSW for their continued support. ...
